HEALTH BENEFITS OF QUAIL  EGGS

Medicinal benefits of quail products

Cooked or raw, quail eggs bring many benefits for the body – have a nutritional value four times higher than regular eggs and doctors recommend quail eggs in treating various diseases or for general health maintenance.

Quail eggs have no contraindications, so anytime, a cure with quail eggs is beneficial. Unlike chicken egg, the quail egg contains five times more phosphorus, 7.5 times more iron, 15 times more vitamin B2 and six times more vitamin B1. Furthermore, quail eggs also contain calcium, zinc, sulfur and potassium.

Cancer Prevention and Recovery

Modern food production and preservation methods raise the amount of substances and elements that are toxic to the human body (free radicals). Most of these elements promote the growth of naturally occurring cancerous cells in the body, uncontrolled growth of these cells result in cancer.

Quail eggs are rich in vitamin A and Selenium therefore helps in detoxification of the body by removing the free radicals ingested from other food sources. Due to this, quail eggs are also very alkaline hence are not only useful in prevention of cancer but also useful to patients undergoing cancer treatment since they provide an environment unsuitable for cancer growth.

Quail eggs offer a natural and readily available alternative for cancer patients who have undergone chemotherapy, they are also a healthy vitamin rich solution for those who have undergone surgery to remove the cancer. Moreover, they will help strengthen your immune system while repairing damaged tissues following cancer treatments.

Anaemia

Anaemia is caused by a deficiency of iron in the body, its symptoms can be minor or major depending  on how much iron is lacking in the body. The human body requires a lot of iron therefore it is advisable to consume foods rich in this.

Quail eggs are a good source of iron, vitamin A and B12 hence are a natural way to prevent anaemia and help people recovering from it. Including enough quail eggs in the day to day diet will prevent anaemia and can be an alternative to iron shots or pills for those suffering from anaemia.

Ease Digestive Tract Disorders

Quail eggs are rich in antioxidants, magnesium, vitamin B6, potassium and have high alkaline content therefore can be used as a remedy to gastritis and ulcers among other things.

Quail eggs are very useful for people with gastritis, stomach and duodenal ulcers since they are readily available and reduce stomach acid levels with their high alkaline content and antioxidant properties. A few eggs included in the daily diet can replace expensive pills and provide lasting relief from ulcers and acidic discomforts.

Their richness in Selenium and vitamin A qualify quail eggs as natural antioxidants; which are now endorsed through clinical studies for treatment of peptic ulcers and gastritis since they are both caused by oxidative stress and free radical overload in the digestive tract.

Ease Eczema Symptoms

Eczema  is term for a group of medical conditions that cause the skin to become inflamed or irritated. The most common type of eczema is known as atopic dermatitis, or atopic eczema. Atopic refers to a group of diseases with an often inherited tendency to develop other allergic conditions, such as asthma and hay fever.

Eczema affects about 10% to 20% of infants and about 3% of adults and children in the U.S. Most infants who develop the condition outgrow it by their tenth birthday, while some people continue to experience symptoms on and off throughout life. With proper treatment, the disease can be controlled in the majority of sufferers.

Research has identified enriched sources of Vitamin A as perhaps the most vital nutrient deficiency to replenish. In particular, products rich in Vitamin A retinol have been found to heal damaged epithelial tissue associated with eczema. Quail eggs are not only rich in Vitamin A, they are among the only sources of retinol that does not compromise your cholesterol levels.

Heal Skin Damage from Allergies

Quail eggs are rich in the essential fatty acids required to maintain skin cell moisture that hydrates the skin and helps in healing skin damage from excessive dryness, peeling and cracking. They are also rich in vitamin B2 that helps in repairing damaged tissue without the excessive cholesterol levels in other sources of vitamin B2

The high alkaline content of quail eggs makes them ideal for detoxification of the body from residual acids therefore minimizing inflammation and itchiness resulting from skin rash, eczema and psoriasis. Reduction of the itchiness assists in the healing process of damaged skin.

Research also shows that consuming food rich in vitamin B12 (like quail eggs) inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines that are the primary cause of skin allergies. Consumption of quail eggs in such cases would be an advisable alternative to anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. corticosteroid hormones, immune-suppressants and anti-itch antihistamines) could lead to skin thinning, diminished immune system and liver damage.

Kidney and Gall Stones Removal

High amounts of Vitamin C or other source of oxalates combine with calcium and reduce its ability to be absorbed. This is turn, creates calcium stone deposits. This causes pains around the kidney area; one of the signs of kidney stones.

Quail eggs provide essential nutrients and less oxalates to eliminate kidney and gall stones. They are rich in magnesium, vitamin B6 and potassium therefore making them a perfect remedy for kidney and gall stones elimination.

The Potassium reduces the excessive urinary calcium excretion that often leads to kidney stones.
The high amounts of Vitamin B6 and magnesium, coupled with low amounts of Vitamin C, inhibit oxalate stone formation. Quail eggs are low oxalate and the calcium in them is easily absorbed.

Rashes

Another common affliction addressed by quail eggs are allergic skin conditions. Research shows that most who have survived these harsh symptoms of skin itch, dryness, discolorations and even cracking engage in a multitude of treatments. Some good news is that nutrients found in the quail egg contribute greatly to the maintenance and prevention of skin allergies. Specifically, they aid in controlling allergic skin symptoms; healing skin damage from eczema and psoriasis; and minimizing the possibility of future allergic skin flair-ups.

Reduce Asthma Flair-Ups

Asthma prevalence has risen alarmingly over the recent years and so have methods of combatting it. Research now shows that a person suffering from asthma requires foods rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids as a natural remedy (anti-inflamatory) as opposed to modern medicine which has varied side effects for different people.

Quail egss are rich in vitamin A and Selenium making them an excellent antioxidant that can improve lung functions, their high Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids also help in reducing inflamation. This means quail eggs can be used as a natural way to ward off asthma attacks / flair-ups without the need to use inhailers and steroids.

Heart Disease

Heart disease is spreading widely and slowly becoming a leading cause of many human deaths across the world, eating healthy and exercising helps improve the heart and prevent related diseases.

Quail eggs are an excellent choice of food for people who wish to improve the condition of their heart. They are low in carbohydrates and bad cholesterol (Low-density lipoprotein; LDL), they also improve the blood lipids profile. They also help in reducing chances of heart disease since they are  rich in folic acid, vitamin B12, iron, phosphorous, protein, riboflavin and selenium.

Rhinitis and Hay Fever Relief

Allergic RhinitisA significant number of people suffer from Rhinitis and Hay Fever, and constantly have to deal with symptoms like sneezing, congestion and generalized fatigue among others.

Quail eggs offer a 100% natural remedy that inhibit the production of harmful elements lie histamines, IgE and free radicals hence reducing the mucus obstruction to airflow in the respiratory system.
They are rich in vitamin A, retonol and antioxidants that naturally suppress histamine and heal the mucus membrane while neutralizing free radicals.

Using quail eggs as an alternative remedy to Rhinitis and hay fever eliminates the need to use anti allergens and steroids (and their side effects). With regular intake of quail eggs, one can enjoy the outdoors without the fear of sinus attack and enjoy relief from allergy symoms without drowsiness that drugs normally introduce.
